The Friends of South Carolina Libraries offers grants of up to $250 to library Friends groups in South Carolina. The grants are to assist with the following expenses related to a library Friends group in South Carolina:
- New or innovative projects or technology sponsored by an existing Friends group that fosters local library support
- Grant applicants must be current members of FOSCL. Priority will be given to Friends groups that have not previously received a FOSCL grant.
- Forming or incorporating a library Friends group
- 501©3 application fees for a library Friends group
- Revitalizing an existing Friends group
