Annual Meeting
Dear Friends,
I am pleased to open registration for the 2018 Annual Friends of South Carolina Libraries Meeting. This year's meeting will be held on Wednesday, April 11th at brand new Five Forks Branch of the Greenville County Public Library located at 104 Sunnydale Drive in Simpsonville, SC. We will begin the program at 10:00 am. Coffee, registration, and refreshments will begin at 9:30 am.
Celebrate National Library Week with FOSCL! April 9th – April 13th
This year the Friends of South Carolina Libraries are encouraging all guests attending the Annual Meeting to bring items for the Friends Information Hub. Examples would be brochures or flyers about your local library or Friends Group, promotional materials from past or upcoming fundraisers or small giveaways such as bookmarks or pens. Bring a sample or enough to share!
Annual Meeting Includes:
- Guest Speaker, Susan Boyer – Ms. Boyer is the author of the USA TODAY bestselling Liz Talbot mystery series. Her debut novel, Lowcountry Boil, won the Agatha Award for Best First Novel, the Daphne du Maurier Award for Excellence in Mystery/Suspense, and garnered several other award nominations, including the Macavity. The Huffington Post called it "a simmering gumbo of a story full of spice, salt, heat and shrimp.”

- Outstanding Elected Official and Outstanding Individual Awards
- Networking With South Carolina Library Friends Groups

- Election of 2018 Officers and Financial Report
Registration fee is $15.00 and will include a boxed lunch.
We encourage all of you to come and participate. This is a wonderful chance for you to learn and share best practices and network with Friends from around the state.
